www.yahoo.com/entertainment/curb-enthusiasm-officially-ending-season-180000359.html‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ Officially Ending With Season 12 at HBO"The time has come to say goodbye to Curb Your Enthusiasm. After eight seasons, a six-year hiatus and three-season revival — with one more season still to come — Larry David is officially ending his run as TV’s Larry David, a version of himself that he will have played for nearly a span of 25 years on the hit Emmy and Golden Globe-winning HBO comedy. HBO and the star-creator on Thursday announced that Curb Your Enthusiasm will end with its previously announced 12th season, which will premiere Feb. 4. The final season will consist of 10 episodes, releasing weekly Sundays at 10 p.m. “As Curb comes to an end, I will now have the opportunity to finally shed this ‘Larry David’ persona and become the person God intended me to be — the thoughtful, kind, caring, considerate human being I was until I got derailed by portraying this malignant character,” David said in a statement confirming the final season. “And so ‘Larry David,’ I bid you farewell. Your misanthropy will not be missed. And for those of you who would like to get in touch with me, you can reach me at Doctors Without Borders.” The Hollywood Reporter reported in March that season 12 would mark the end for HBO’s longest-running comedy, as David’s current pact with the premium cable network was expiring this year. The season wrapped filming that month, and the upcoming series finale was described by sources at the time as having the feel of a homecoming. “It’s hard to say farewell to such a ground-breaking, brilliantly funny and iconic series like Curb Your Enthusiasm, which has left its mark across television and the comedy genre,” Casey Bloys, chairman and CEO of HBO & Max Content, said in a statement Thursday. “Working alongside Larry David and [executive producer] Jeff Schaffer as well as all of the comedic masterminds that comprise our producers, cast and crew has been a joy that I will always treasure.”

I've started over from the beginning in preparation for the ending. I missed so many episodes as well so I get to fill in the blanks. The beloved aunt episode is killer.

12 seasons is a great run. Would I watch more? Definitely. But if LD is ready to call it I support him. Looking forward to the final season.
That being said I’m up for a spinoff. I think a Leon one was floated at one point. Either that or I think they could take the fictional Young Larry series and turn it into a real thing.

For those who watched the final episode, what did you think of it? I liked it enough. I am a bit disappointed it didn’t end with Larry going to jail, but relieved all the same that it didn’t repeat the Seinfeld finale, even though I didn’t hate that one. No deaths, no weddings or anything like that, just more of the same, which is nice to see in a finale sometimes and stays true to the theme of the show of Larry not changing.

For those who watched the final episode, what did you think of it? Thought it was okay-good. Has some stuff I was a bit iffy on, but it had some great laughs, and ends quite nicely. I'm fine with it. Wasn't sure about the repeating the Seinfeld finale part, but it's done in a much better way than Seinfeld's was, so I'm just glad LD got to do the ending he wanted. It was always a good idea, just not executed the best way originally. Plus it's a comedy, so endings aren't really a big deal compared to drama's.

For those who watched the final episode, what did you think of it? I enjoyed it. It was a wild bit of trolling to basically remake the Seinfeld finale. The running gag of Leon watching the show was also funny. Not sure why Susie was so angry about the way Jeff got the recipe.
