Might not exactly be "metal", but heavy punk.... "It's Gonna Be A Kickass Christmas" by the Sleighs is awesome! It was featured in a Christmas episode in the action drama series "Scorpion". I had to search high and low for it because I didn't have Siri at my disposal at the time.  As well, I remember back in the early 90s, Winger did an acoustic version of "Silent Night".
