I've never seen such a slew of high profile HC options all at once, in the winter.
Interestingly, ppl in the know already seem to warn not to overlook teams already seemingly locked in - not to only look at current vacancies.
Belichick -
Commanders... back in the NFC East, still gets a 2024 blue chip QB, carte blanche for accountability in that room.
Falcons... apparently they tried in the past to buy him? Tepid division seems doable & Blank would stay out of his way. Weapons galore, he'd just need a QB.
X-Factor - Bills... if they don't make the AFC title game & compete there, Sean's probably gone. BB stays in the division, with superstar QB & WR, able to tighten up a very loose bunch, not least penalty issues & self inflicted errors.
Jim Harbaugh -
Falcons... easy division right now, offensive weaponry already on the table, could bring along his QB JJ even if long term backup. He'd get a lot of runway & job security.
Cardinals... offensively minded, seems right now at least. In dire need of leadership. Could help Murray see the field better?
X-Factor - Seahawks... whilst the 49ers blood rival, Jim doesn't seem a lifer, so it would be merely clickbait. Familiar division, & team with high expectations, Jim could thrive on that juice.
Vrabel -
Chargers... this franchise needs stability & leadership like no tomorrow. Instantly could elevate expectations.
Commanders... blank slate, high draft pick, franchise not necessarily looking for the sexy home run choice. They just need back from relegation.
X-Factor - Bears?... Seems a franchise fit for his ilk. They want to elevate, & Vrabel might help that along.
Carroll -
Chargers... I'm staying west coast for Pete, & age more instant change. LAC need an injection with Herbert in his youthful prime.
Cardinals... safe market for him, would welcome his current NFL IQ, transform their culture a bit.
X-Factor - Raiders?... They've seemingly finished up strong, yet a splash doesn't come around often. They've been middling for years now. Carroll's energy would be good there.
btw, the Panthers owner has cancelled himself for me from legitimacy... that team could've been on the menu, & well, I'll throw water on that option.
