I have no interest in Johnny and Chanel, is that bad?

I don’t have any interest in them either but hopefully they will have a storyline coming up that will get us invested into their relationship. I really am looking forward to seeing how Sloan becomes more and more unraveled in keeping the truth about Jude’s paternity. It shows that she really can be a compassionate person.

I think the ultimate twist would be that somehow Eric finds out about the switch and then GOES ALONG WITH IT because he wants to keep his baby away from EJ or something...
I don't know. This show is so predictable I'd like to see them try something different.

This show is so predictable I'd like to see them try something different. Hopefully, with the scab writers, it might not be as predictable as usual. I’m pretty impressed with what’s been happening lately.

I am enjoying the show much more lately also but it's still relatively predictable. I'd like to see something really out of left field happen.

At this point, I’m just happy that it keeps my attention for the most part. I loved it when I taped it on my DVR when it still aired on NBC. I could fast forward through the commercials and the boring scenes. I do have to say that I enjoyed Monday’s episode with the dedication to MLK Jr. It was very touching but not overly done. I felt it came from real experiences. Especially when Jada and Chanel talked about people wanting to touch their hair when they were younger.

I thought the MLK episode was important and good but at times it did feel a little after school special to me. The stuff about Jada and Chanel and their hair and then Johnny saying he didn't get it and then admitting he should just be quiet was good, and felt realistic. I'm glad the show is more diverse though. I think that is important.
I'm so glad to see larger cast scenes and people actually interacting with each other and have moments, not just talking about something that happened off-screen that we didn't see. Marlena and John being there for Tate made sense. The Johnsons having a big family dinner made sense. This is what the show should be!

That said, my favorite episode this week so far was Sloan hosting Marlena and John for dinner. It was hysterical and I thought it was very good showing how intimidated Sloan is by the “perfect” Dr. Evans.

Sloan was great, that was a funny episode but also annoyed me that Marlena just assumed Sloan had a drinking problem. It was obvious that she just did it because she was nervous, she basically said as much!
