Dolphins to cut Xavien Howard as a post June 1st designation.
He has interest in joining the Texans.
Steelers cut center Mason Cole.
Ravens are exploring adding a top RB like Saquan Barkley or Derrick Henry.
NFL salary cap increased to 255.4 million an increase of 30 million from last season.

I wonder what the odds we'll ever see an undefeated team... with a tie in its record. Would Miami revolt?

I'm scared of the Ravens with either of those two.

Tee Higgins informed he will receive the franchise tag.
My early predictions for some offseason moves.
Justin Fields to Pittsburgh for a 2nd and 5th round picks. Falcons are betting favorites last I checked but they passed on drafting him so I could see them passing again. Payton wants more accuracy in Denver so I doubt that's a fit. Raiders are getting mentioned but they have the Bears former OC and people didn't like that combo last year so it would be an odd reunion.
Danielle Hunter to Detroit.
Bryce Huff to Washington.
Kamren Curl to Green Bay.
Kirk Cousins to Vegas.
Derrick Henry to Baltimore.
Hollywood Brown to New England.
Connor Williams to Chicago.
Jonah Jackson to New York Giants.
Trent Brown to Kansas City.
Chase Young to Denver.
Robert Hunt to Jacksonville.
Kevin Dotson to Seattle.
Players staying put either resigned or tagged.
Josh Allen Justin Madubuike Tee Higgins Brian Burns Jaylon Johnson Antoine Winfield Jr. Baker Mayfield Michael Pittman
Players I have zero clue about. Chris Jones L'Darius Sneed Mike Evans Christian Wilkins Calvin Ridley Tyron Smith Saquan Barkley Josh Jacobs

Peter King retiring after 44 years in the business. Always liked his columns. Yep. Alas, I will admit in the podcast age, his MMQB became less urgent for me, as a marinating the wkend go-to. Still, his was the longest running online read of my lifetime, since 2000 via CNNSI I believe. I tweeted him a thanks for all the craft beers & coffee stories. Prior that, '95-'99 an SI print subscriber too. I'd hope he has a book him in, maybe more bio than football. He seems like he enjoys his craft.

Same. Good writer and a good cameo in The Longest Yard remake. Agreed on his writing... hard disagree on The Longest Yard Remake. Ok so I am usually totally against remakes. I was very much against this one as well for 2 reasons. 1. The original was one of my favorite movies growing up. Watched it countless times. Seriously, was there anybody cooler than 70's Burt Reynolds? The Longest Yard, Hooper, & Smokey & the Bandit were on all time in my house. 2. Adam Sandler playing football??? Golf, ok. Basketball, fine. But football? I just didn't see it. But I actually enjoyed the remake. Nowhere near as good as the original and yes, there is a big suspension of disbelief. But it was a fun movie. We're not talking Shakespeare here but entertaining for what it was.

I figure Jones or Sneed get resigned in KC not both but one of them get tagged or kept somehow, just no clue which one. Evans I could see going to like the Jets or Bears or even staying in TB but he won't get tagged. Dolphins are up against it in cap so no idea what they do with Wilkins but I figure they have to keep him somehow. Ridley has a weird stipulation to his trade, if Jacksonville resigns him the compensation to Atlanta becomes a 2nd rounder I believe? Do they want that? Tyron Smith I think either retires or stays in Dallas for a year. Maybe he signs a 1 year ring chase deal like suggested but he seems like a staple in Dallas. The RBs I have zero clue outside of guessing one to Baltimore. Houston for Barkley could be fun but who is going to actually pay decent money to any of them?

Man, growing up RB was a top position. Guys like Tony Dorsett, Walter Payton, & Marcus Allen really made me love the game. Earl Campbell, Eric Dickerson, Roger Craig, Bo Jackson, & Curt Warner were all guys I loved. Into the 90's with Emmitt & Barry. Thurman Thomas, & Curtis Martin. Into the 2000's with Tomlinson, Faulk, Rickey Williams, TB with Alstott & Dunn. So many great RBs and I'm sure I'm missing many other people's favorites.
Now the position is so devalued that Barkley, Henry, Jacobs, Ekeler, & Pollard are all FA's and none are getting tagged, and with that many on the open market, it'll only drive their price down. I get it. It's a passing league now and teams would rather spend their money elsewhere. Add in their position takes such a beating and their average careers are shorter and I get it but sad what has become on what was once considered the glory position.

CMC, Henry, Zeke, Barkley, Lynch... there's just not enough tread on the tire to have more than 2-5 prime seasons. Even if there were a Thurman Thomas type for the draft, I'm not certain he'd even be a top 10 anymore, let alone which franchise today would feature him like an Adrian Peterson.

I do love watching CMC play. Henry was a lot of fun to watch too. Broke a lot of long runs for a dude that big. And that legendary stiff arm. Where Dallas messed up was giving Zeke that 2nd deal. He was awesome his 1st few years where they just fed him the ball. I hate to say this as I love the position and played it all through childhood and in college, but the way it works now, I'd draft a stud pretty high, run him like crazy on his rookie deal, then never give him a 2nd contract. Then draft another one and rinse & repeat.

I find most of his comedies pretty annoying, but vehemently hate him the way that some do. But I found this movie to be especially terrible. And the Peter King cameo is a good example. ESPN and newspaper reporters came to cover this game that nobody could possibly care about outside of the walls of this place? They get professional uniforms? It's soooooooooooo stupid and goes against so many of the charms of the original. It's really only any good when it's copying the original directly, and even then it's just a pale imitation, at best.

To me, his movies are hit or miss. Some I find funny, others are just stupid, and than others I won't even see based off of the trailer as they look colossally stupid. I feel the same way about Will Farrell movies. Yes, a ton of suspension of disbelief here. Burt Reynolds in his 70's scoring the td at then end for instance. And again, the original is a favorite of mine and this is nowhere near the original. But I did think it was a fun watch and much better than some of his other movies.
