It's a fascinating question, given the fact that SO many people HATED the finale of Seinfeld (I think I'm in the small minority of people who actually liked it !!), and something Larry David is all too aware of, given his close association to that show. Not sure what he has up his sleeve for his own show, but I would be willing bet BIG money that one of the key goals of his finale, will be to do EVERYTHING in his power to make SURE he doesn't fall into that very same 'trap' of Seinfeld's finale.....an episode, by the way, that he helped write !! ew.com/article/2015/06/26/seinfeld-finale-revisited/

100% going to end exactly as Seinfeld did. Larry’ll go to jail for the Atlanta stuff and everyone he pissed off this season and possibly throughout the course of the show will testify against him.

Part of me wishes they had done something separate from Seinfeld, but it was very on brand.
Larry David is a G.
