March 29th.
I'm there, I've been a supporter if not a fan of this Monarch saga thus far. Giving money to Godzilla & Kong feels like I'm doing my cinematic part. Still... Godzilla vs. Kong was a nice capper enough, & this will get my money for being loyal. Hopefully we're not served a mess like ID42 or Jurassic World Dominion.
I'm expecting even more stingers & open ended finale, even if they've zero concrete plans right now.
Popcorn movies ftw.

Good luck. The movie looks terrible, but then, every movie after Godzilla 2014 set in this monsterverse has been terrible, so what do you have to lose at this point? Strangely, the Monarch show was enjoyable, probably because like Godzilla 2014, it focused on the people instead becoming a two hour video game. If you actually enjoyed the last few Godzilla/Kong movies, this will probably be just fine.
I highly recommend Godzilla Minus One for a very different viewing experience.

It looks like goofy schlock, just like the last one. I might go see it just to kill some time.

I would have said every movie after the first 15 minutes of Godzilla 14, because that's about when Bryan Cranston kicked the bucket. Unless you consider that human-ish looking android that Aaron Johnson played a person. Minus One is so damn good.

I've seen a few positive reviews, in a 'great monster truck' of a fun time. That's not exactly what I was hoping for, but as I said, this thing has earned my money - 4 for 4 thus far & I'm bored of NBA & NHL regular season right now.

so bad so bad so bad couldnt last till the end i just couldnt. its PROBABLY enjoable for kids and teen boys MAYBE some early twenties? But i struggle to imagine even that. bad story no characters no interesting action no or bad humor no interesting actors feels just so empty. ok for 8-12 yos who like monsters i guess. but it has zero original king kong charm and subzero original godzilla charm.

I liked it, for what it was - monster movie popcorn. Kong didn't have his sequel film prior vs. Godzilla, & this one all but feels like that makes up for him - this is all but a Kong story.
Alas, it has made its monsters routine & the awe is gone.
Hollow Earth's past & present is a next frontier, yet I'm not there for it - the Iwi tribe lore could be a tv show, but I'm not paying theatrical dollars for them.
This series gets an overall solid B+ from me. Shines next to the dreck of its ilk Jurassic World & Transformers. 1. Skull Island 2. King of the Monsters 3. Godzilla 4. Godzilla x Kong 5. Godzilla vs. Kong

Godzilla vs. Kong This franchise has officially given up on doing anything interesting and focused solely on mindless action. But you know what, they're hitting home runs with it. Taken for what it is, it's a hell of a ride. Goofy, ridiculous fun from start to finish, and isn't trying to be anything more than that. Personally, I enjoyed the attempt to ground the material in Godzilla (2014) and the Monarch show on Apple, if you're watching that. But hey, the movies have gone back to the schlock we grew up on, may as well have fun with it. Regarding your list, I guess it depends on which monster you're partial to. I was always a Godzilla guy. I think the only reason I'd put GvK over GxK is that they were still at least attempting to have stakes in that movie. I think? GxK may as well take place on a holodeck. 1. Godzilla (2014) 2. KOTM 3. GvK 4. GxK 5. Skull Island
