25TH ANNIVERSARY HIS AND HER CIRCUMSTANCES (1999) “14 Days Part 6“ The final Episode leaves the storylines unfinished (a dispute between the author and the animators led to its cancellation). English Dubbed. YouTube
30TH ANNIVERSARY SAILOR MOON S (1994) “Premonition of the Apocalypse! The Mysterious Guardians Appear” The third season of the series finds a new foe and two new persons in Sailor uniforms who may be friend or foe. I first saw this episode on Cartoon Network in June 2000. Having been familiar with the DIC dub, I was startled by the changed voices and the original music. Japanese with English Subtitles. Amazon Prime

POLICE ACADEMY (1984) The Comedy that spawned six films, introducing the core cast of Mahoney (Steve Guttenberg), Harris (G W Bailey), Lassard (George Gaynes), Hooks (Marion Ramsey), Tackleberry (David Graf), Hightower (Bubba Smith), Jones (Michael Winslow), Callahan (Leslie Easterbook), and David Mahler’s Fackler (with Kim Cattrall, Donovan Scott, and Michael Rubin playing principal characters that won’t go beyond Movie 1). This was my second PA film (my first was the second film), viewed back in 1985. I vividly remember Mahoney saying the S word while getting shot at. The last time I saw the full film was in 2016. Amazon Prime

60TH ANNIVERSARY 7 FACES OF DR LAO (1964) George Pal’s fantasy of an Oriental showman and his unusual cast (all seven played by Tony Randall) visiting an old West town. First learned of the film from TNT’s OUR FAVORITE MOVIES, with an intro featurette. I would see the film later. Warner Archive DVD
100TH ANNIVERSARY THE THIEF OF BAGDAD (1924) Douglas Fairbanks’ Silent Arabian Nights Epic, with set designs by William Cameron Menzies. First saw the finale (with Carl Davis playing Rhmsy Korsakov) in Episode 2 of HOLLYWOOD in June 1991. First saw the film on my Birthday in October 1992. I have seen most of, the big sleep remake. From the 70's.
In order to understand this film. You have to , take notes. At least if you're like me that is. And watch it 4 times.
And it was good because of the plot twist towards the end of the film. Which makes it better than the 40's version. Why does that make it better? Because in the old version it's impossible to understand what's going on. In many parts of the film.
But in the remake , you can almost understand the plot twist if you pay attention enough. And take notes as well.

I really like the piece of music that plays at the end of that^ movie and over the end credits. I find it equal parts beautiful and haunting.
