Thoughts on this film? I think I have to give it thumbs down. As soon as the movie started it became obvious it was one of those movies that was going to be trying really hard to be "quirky" and insufferable. I mean they start off by playing a teacher sexually abusing a student for laughs! There are no likable characters whatsoever, and why is so much of the movie about Matthew Broderick's relationship issues? I guess it is cool to see Chris Klein in something other than American Pie at least.

I don’t think the characters are meant to be likable.

To each his own. I think it's great. I'm also surprised they managed to make a documentary about the 2016 presidential election in 1999.
