The T-1000, upon first entering the police car, immediately looks up John Connor’s address (I’m always amused his age listed as 10). This is definitely at night time yet he doesn’t bother to visit the house until the sun is up. What was he doing prior to that? I’m also amused at the thought of him being so into character as stepmom Janelle he would cook dinner for him and Todd while waiting for John to show up.

I figured he arrived in the past before dawn at a location that was a far distance away from the house. It would take some time to travel there and daylight would come by the time of his arrival. Don't forget that California is a big state.

As we see in the first movie, both Reese and Arnie arrive in Los Angeles and not bum fuck Michigan.

They sent Ahnie to the Griffith Observatory in the first one, which probably wasn't the exact desired location, unless they thought Sarah would be there chilling in the middle of the night with James Dean and Sal Mineo. Speaking of funny images, the T-800 walking his ass all the way down that mountain until he finds the street car he boosts. As ck alluded to, LA itself is pretty big and The T-1000 doesn't seem to know John's address until he looks it up. Not sure where he got dropped, but it seemed like John lived in Reseda which is in the valley, which is a bitch to get in and out of with traffic. Add on the T-1000 doesn't have a GPS or know its way around (there's a deleted scene where he asks the girls where the "position" of the Galleria is) and I guess it checks out. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it also took Ahnie until the morning to get to John's house and he already knew the location?

My first question would be why my 10 year old has a Honda XR100R, why no one pulls him over, and how I'm not in prison for allowing it.
