Jadon Sancho, excellent in the first leg, again strides down the right flank for Dortmund but his cross is cleared. He'd have been welcome by Ten Hagg at Selhurst Park last night but we know what happened between the two of them.

Ruiz feeds Mbappe from the byline but he can't connect for what would surely have been the leveller...it's cleared and Adeyemi breaks free to the other end of the field. He goes it alone. It's Dortmund who have assumed overall control, knocking it about with ease, still mindful of a PSG threat but really looking confident, I have to say. It sounds like most of the home crowd, previously so loud and energetic, have gone for croissants and a lie-down.
