The movie would have been way more effective if the trailers didn't let you know what the movie was actually about.

Agreed. Same thing can be said of the upcoming Shyamalan movie, Trap. But in either case, the twist is what makes the movie interesting, so it's unlikely anyone would pay to see them without knowing the reveal. Tough spot to be in if you're cutting the trailer. Seems like both of these movies would make better Black Mirror episodes.

The movie is quite generic before the reveal and it takes 45 minutes to get to it. |

Wasn't it originally going to be called Dracula's Daughter? I'd have actually watched it. Abigail sounds like another generic evil doll movie or something.

Actually it's ruined by the last 15 minutes. What the absolute fuck was that? Between this and Scream 6, Radio Silence know how to ruin an otherwise perfectly enjoyable horror movie at very end.
