The band’s self titled debut album, colloquially known as the blue album. Not really a Weezer fan, but this is a respectable enough debut. Known for “Buddy Holly” “Undone — The Sweater Song” and “Say It Ain’t So.”  |

Not a big fan either, but this is a killer, hooky, power pop album, with a kooky alt rock edge. I've not listened extensively to the rest of their discography, but from what I have heard and what I've heard discussed, this appears to be their peak. I didn't even like Pinkerton much. I do love "Island in the Sun" though.

I was going to reply: Which album titled "Weezer" is this one?  I'm not really a big fan of Weezer, either. That said, "Buddy Holly" is in my top 5 of favourite videos of all time. Plus, if you're interested: Looking at iTunes, I had a look at that album. It displayed song titles such as: Paranoid No Scrubs Stand By Me Africa I thought.....no. Yes - they are their renditions of those songs. So, I downloaded the whole album!  Joker's Wilde |
