B movie extraordinaire and also started the careers of several filmmakers who worked on his films.

I was just reading his IMDb trivia yesterday. I was thinking he’s been around for a long time. RIP to the legend.

Very influential in the world of independent filmmaking. And many famous people, directors and actors alike, got their start with him. A true legend.

What a legend. Who could possibly explain what he contributed to movies? He supported upcoming actors and directors that went on to great things. He made schlock for the schlock-loving masses. His Hollywood footprint was massive. R.I.P. 💔

Sad news, I've seen more movies directed by him than by any other director. Not that he was my favorite director, but his movies were always entertaining. RIP.

Great guy always seemed happy and loved to talk about films. He will be missed. Lots of 60s and 70s films that he did are among my favorites.

Corman's World: Exploits of a Hollywood Rebel (2011) is one of the best documentaries on cinema that I've seen, couldn't recommend it enough.
People like Jack Nicholson, Martin Scorsese, Ron Howard, Peter Fonda, David Carradine and many more all turn up to tell memories and anecdotes about working for Corman and something about the man himself. It's heart-warming to see these current superstars of cinema as well as many "cult" personalities in the docu just for the fun of it and because of their respect for Corman, and for their nostalgia for how film-making was back then. Yet the docu isn't uncritical, as it is true that the end of New Hollywood also marked the end of Corman's most interesting period as a producer, and he wasn't always honest or easy to work with.
Despite running only 100 minutes or so, it really comes along as a "everything you've always wanted to know about Roger Corman but were afraid to ask" kind of thing. Really, check it out.

Thanks for the heads up on this. Found it on Hoopladigital and now I'm Psyched to track down some Corman movies I've missed and rewatch some I've seen.
