Last Voyage of the Demeter was in my top ten of last year, I enjoyed it quite a bit. Renfield was goofy fun. I didn't think they could stretch that premise into a full length film, but they did it. Haven't seen the other two.

Both are the opposite in terms of what parts I like about them. With Renfield I don't care for the second half and Abigail I don't care for the first half.
Both 6.5/10, but I like Abigail more.

And The Invitiation (not The Bride, I forgot the freaking title) sucks until the last 30 minutes when you find out it's Dracula movie, which the first hour did a good job keeping a secret (this was a test screening, the marketing after was pretty open about the guy being Dracula).

I think I heard about The Invitation because of you. I haven't watched it because the story and cast don't really interest me.

Speaking of Abigail, it just occurred to me that Dan Stevens reminds me of Cary Elwes. Does he for you?
