Sat. & Sun. we're having Conecuh sausage and New York Style potato salad from Publix (I bought 2 days worth), Monday we're having cabbage rolls. Tonight we're having homemade vegetarian pizza from Fresh Market and Marketside Caesar Salad from Walmart (our favorite Caesar salad).

What about that brand of caesar salad makes it your favorite?

I have had nothing planned that is holiday, or menu related. I am going to devote time to going through "stuff," to take to the Salvation Army, the used-book store and the Office Max shredding department.
Now that I'm reminded, I think I might pick up a small rack of spare ribs, and make the basic recipe for BBQ sauce, from The Joy of Cooking. It's easy, and I cook them in the oven.
Also, Memorial Day, July 4th and Labor Day are three of the days when I allow myself to eat potato chips ... my sin of choice.
Happy holiday weekend, all!

What about that brand of caesar salad makes it your favorite? The Marketside salad dressing is the best, my second Favorite Is Taylor Farms and my third is Fresh Express. I always buy the chopped versions. The New York potato salad from Publix is the tastiest I've ever had. I don't know why they call it "New York."

Having some friends over today. Got a couple of sausage pinwheels for the grill. Got a couple of bundles of little neck clams. I saute some shallots, celery, garlic and diced chorizo in butter. I then pour in some beer, hot sauce, rosemary, & thyme and add the clams until the open. My wife is making potato salad, and a watermelon salad with goat cheese, red onion, and a balsamic glaze. Then just standard burgers and dogs on the grill with a few cold adult beverages.
Hope you all enjoy some good food with good family & friends!
