Objectively leaning... & with the rest of 2024 riding entirely on Nosferatu myself... I suppose we're somewhere with...
1. There Will Be Blood
2. Mad Max: Fury Road
3. Parasite
4. The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring
5. Mulholland Drive
6. The Dark Knight
7. City of God
8. Top Gun: Maverick
9. Past Lives
10. Oppenheimer

That’s tough. My own (with an “objective lean” as you mentioned) would include:
The Dark Knight Blade Runner 2049 Inglourious Basterds Zodiac Fellowship of the Ring Revenge of the Sith Uncut Gems Dawn of the Planet of the Apes M:I - Dead Reckoning Top Gun Maverick

I was weighing Zodiac, maybe in a few years I can re-think Oppenheimer. Past Lives I switched in for Get Out. I think the former is more balanced & enjoyable.

moviemouth movieloverGreat to see some love for Minority Report. I think it’s great too, but I showed it to a couple buddies of mine a few weeks ago and they both hated it. I was surprised. It works on a lot of levels. Action, mystery, Sci-Fi, cyberpunk noir, etc.
