Any fans of this debut album by the metal band Slipknot? I got to hear it for the first time this year and I thought it was pretty good. Many know this album from songs like "Eyeless", "Wait and Bleed", and "Spit It Out".  |

The song "Wait And Bleed" is awesome!! In fact, it was featured on the "I Still Know What You Did Last Summer" soundtrack. So, I picked that up. EDIT : It was actually on the "Scream 3" soundtrack. I WAS CLOSE!! It had to do with a horror film.  Amusing story about Slipknot....if I may. Back when I worked music retail, one day, a police officer came into the store. He was doing a graffiti investigation. He showed me a sketch of the "S", which was their 'logo'. He asked me if I had ever seen it before. I explained that I had - saying that it was the logo for the metal band Slipknot. We had a Slipknot CD (probably the aforementioned self-titled album), so I proceeded to take it out of the case to show him the logo. Meanwhile, I'm thinking....I'm incriminating myself - knowing what this is. On the other hand, I was doing my due diligence in helping out. I've got nothing to hide/lose.  Joker's Wilde |
