Dark and edgy? There's a lot of humor, though later season are indeed darker. Millennium was more like that from the beginning.

You can watch it on DVD or streaming, if its on streaming. It's on Hulu. I've watched a couple of episodes, but it's hard for me to get into that episodic, long form type of TV in this day and age. |
