John Wick came out in 2014 the same year as Elliot Rodger's Retribution in Isla Vista. Both John Wick and Elliot Rodgers are the same race (White/Asian). Elliot Rodgers was mad because he couldn't get girls, John Wick was depressed his wife died so he couldn't get pussy anymore. Like all mass shooters John Wick kills scores of people who did nothing to him. This is because mass shooters are so tormented from the rest of humanity they feel everyone deserves to die. Most of the death worshippers who like the John Wick movies are white people. White people are notorious for shooting up schools. The song "Killing Strangers" in John Wick is by Marilyn Manson. Marylin Manson was implicated in the Columbine massacre. Even the writer of John Wick, Derek Kolstad(who looks like a creep) compares John to the Devil. At one point John Wick forces a father at gunpoint to give his son's location just so he can go shoot him in the face. The dogs in John Wick actually represent him. After his killing spree John Wick adopts a different dog a Pitbull. Pitbulls are child killers just like he is. The sequels of John Wick are actually just him and the criminals at the Continental receiving their karma. One of the movies praised by the Columbine shooters was Natural Born Killers. NBK was directed by Oliver Stone. Oliver Stone also wrote Scarface. I wish the action was the plot of these movies. Alas, they go way overboard with their hitman worldbuilding nonsense. I suppose I should appreciate that for its originality, but it's so banal and convoluted. Nevertheless, I enjoy all of these movies. I think 3 was the peak for me action-wise, but that stair scene in 4 was pretty amazing.

2 and 4 are awesome; 1 and 3 are decent with great moments.
The action is phenomenal across the board, though.

Outside of these movies, there's a strong argument for Larry Fishburne in Othello/What's Love Got to Do With It and Alfie Allen as Theon being competition. In the JW movies themselves..maybe. But I dug me some evil fat suit Scott Adkins. |

Masterclass series, though I do hope it stops with 4, that had a flawless conclusion for me.
1 is still my fav, probably because its freshness was so epic, & John as predator, reigns over being stalked.
