Enjoyable but the fun of seeing those cameos will obviously be gone next viewings. The 2nd film is still the best one. There is one moment from the movie I have watched at least 50 times already on Youtube.

B+I had lots of fun, & yet ever since the teasers, this thing has been set-up as an exhibition of sorts, rather than much meat on its bones. For that, it works very well, & Reynolds delivers the kitchen sink. Still, it never feels like it's a building block to or from anything much. There's barely any worthy stakes - once again, with the multiverse, there barely ever has been - this Wolverine we've never even met before... so it's not really someone I felt rooting for or not. Its R rating becomes moot for impact once the endless swearing never lets up - more schoolyard & South Park than I was expecting. The 4th wall zingers though landed nicely for me - 20th Century Fox got manhandled throughout. Fav moment: Wolverine masking up for the street fight.

If I was using letter grades I would rate the movie C+.

This movie is improving in retrospect for me. There are just too many scenes and moments I absolutely love.
Bumping my rating to 6.5/10.

Just watched it. I pretty much hated it. 4/10 for me. And it gets all 4 points for the action. Scenes and moments I absolutely love. The opening with Logan's skeleton. The recruiting Logan montage set to the song from Back to the Future. The first fight between Yellow Wolverine and Deadpool. The Human Torch twist. Human Torch's brutal death. Actually just everything Chris Evans does in the movie is gold. The Gambit and Blade cameos. The car fright set to the song from Grease. The masking of Wolverine and bloody fight with all the Deadpools set to Madonna. Hugh Jackman's performance throughout and his annoyed responses to Deadpool. There are more little moments I think are amusing as well.

I'm still processing the Batman quip by Deadpool - is that what we're doing now, nulling & voiding any/all potential crossover decades from now? Heck, even the WW near quip landed for me, I lol'd.

The cameos are a bit much, but the worst part to me is how much less funny it is compared to the first two.

But I don't really need it to be that funny to find it passable entertainment. Wolverine is always a plus for me, though just less emotional impact here because it is a new Wolverine. I still like Jackman a lot in it though. You said you pretty much hated the movie before. Is "meh" hatred from you? For me "meh" means not very good but not all that bad either.

I meant “meh” for the rest of the moments you put in there. The humor and cameos sunk the movie a lot for me. And the story at large was awful imo.

Well, I had a lot of fun with it. It's perhaps not as funny as the second, but still funny. The buried 20th Century Fox logo was probably my biggest laugh, followed by Nicepool demonstrating his 4th wall breaking "skills", or the mocking of the "He's standing right behind me" thing. Thought I was immune to fan service cameos in these things, but Snipes showing up as Blade was pretty awesome. I saw the Chris Evans/Johnny Storm gag coming but it was still funny. On that note, the tribute to Fox during the credits was surprisingly moving as well. It also works best as a conventional action movie of the three. The sidescroller fight set to Like a Prayer made me regret turning down seeing Madina a few months ago. I also liked the villain(s).

Maybe just too much Ryan Reynolds for me. I did like dogpool though. You already knew about the 2th Century Fox logo from the trailer didn't you? Or did you avoid the trailers? It might have been funny if I didn't already know about it. For me it wasn't really a laugh out loud sort of thing, it was a "that's cute" sort of reaction. That was a lot of my reactions rather than finding stuff legit funny. For me the movie was a lot of fun in certain sections, and the action scenes are pretty great. I suspect you just found the movie funnier than me. People who are unfamiliar with Chris Evans as Johnny Storm are going to be missing out. That was a big funny moment for me. I should have seen it coming, but I didn't. I think this is a movie that is more fun to talk about than it was to watch. The main plot is all just one big simple meta joke about the popularity of Hugh Jackman as Wolverine and Disney take-over.

I didn't find Nicepool that hilarious in general, just the moment he turns to the camera and says "...The Proposal". And, well, his death. The dog is actually one of my lesser favorite gags you get in these movies where something is supposed to be funny because it's random. Like the giddy Asian girl. Why is the Asian girl, or the fact that Deadpool likes her so much, supposed to be funny in of itself? I saw one trailer months ago so I don't know if the logo was in that one or I forgot. I've sort of fallen out of watching trailers. But the logo actually probably got the biggest reaction from the audience. I'm a sucker for meta jokes (this is how the first Jurassic World skirted by with a positive rating for me) and it's all I really expect out of Deadpool. I also liked his speech to the army of Deadpools about how the multiverse thing hasn't been working. Though I actually think this has the most interesting "plot" of the three movies, for what that's worth. The first is structured around a boring love story and origin that takes itself too seriously for the kind of movie it's trying to be, while 2 is basically T2: Electric Looper-loo.

Honestly I don’t really have anything negative e to say other than maybe I would added a few more Fox characters to the film. Pretty much delivered on all fronts and even surprisingly emotional at parts.

I assume he just didn't want to do it.

Entertaining enough movie, the action sequences are definitely the highlight of the film. Feel like they overdid Deadpool & Wolverine arguing and tearing each other apart, simply because they can do that and they'll just heal. Some nice character moments, but these get overshadowed by the fights, and they clearly had no idea what to do with the supporting cast from the first 2. The film felt like a send off to the Fox films with all the cameos plus the montage during the end credits. This certainly isn't going to 'save' the MCU. A nice Trek reference I'll certainly Remember! 6/10 sounds about right.

One actor I think deserves to return and get his due is James Marsden as Cyclops. In fact I hope the entire original X-Men team show up in Secret Wars
