I know it's probably an unpopular opinion, but I like the ending they used better than the original one.

I prefer the ending they used.
If he had gone to jail in the end for a crime he didn’t commit, that would’ve sucked.

I'm of two minds on the subject. I get why people like and dislike both endings. I'm fine with sticking with the theatrical ending, although it would have been nice to have a version of the movie with the original ending reinstated. That kind of feels like a cop-out here, but again, I can see the arguments for and against both endings.
