I don't hate the voiceover but I really prefer it without it. You can kinda tell Ford didn't want to be doing it and it makes the whole thing kind of a bummer for me.

I think I'm in a large minority....but I always liked the noiresque voice-over version.
Just added another texture for me and it was the version I saw in the cinema, way back when.
One of my Fave Films ever.

I think I like it better with because it adds to the noir feel.
But I’m not even sure anymore because it’s been so long since I’ve seen the theatrical version (and it’s so hard to find that version on streaming, so I can’t re-watch it).
