I think Anna Paquin wins by default for having an Oscar win. If we're talking exclusively post Scream work, Laurie Metcalf has a nomination plus some Tony's. Olyphant has a lot of prestige tv cred.
We'll see how things pan out for Jenna Ortega, but she's on fire right now and a capable actress.

I forgot Anna Paquin was in a Scream movie. Timothy Olyphant came to mind as well. I think maybe I change mt answer to Olyphant. |

I mostly just found it kind of funny that of all the actors in Scream 1, between Liev, Skeet, Arquette, Lillard and Kennedy Liev easily has had the best career and of the 2 who were known prior to Scream for a famous TV series, their careers went down the drain aside from the Scream sequels. Drew Barrymore though obviously became far more successful after being in Scream. That was a big career boost for her. |

Liev has 9 nominations and Olyphant has 3. |

They all had a bit of a moment, but yeah, besides maybe Lillard (who was always too "weird" for a lot of roles) he was obviously the best actor of the bunch. He had a killer year in the indie scene in '96 leading up to Scream. They knew his character would have a bigger role in the sequel if Scream was successful so they got a serious actor. |

I think it would be either Timothy Olyphant or Emma Roberts. Olyphant played an iconic TV character on his own show for 7 seasons. Doesn't get much better than that. And Emma Roberts has been in a ton of stuff post Scream.
Jenna Ortega has had a pretty great few years since 5cream so if she keeps it up she may overtake both of them!

Liev is awesome though. Always enjoy seeing him whenever he pops up. Still gotta check out his Ray Donovan show, been meaning to for a while.
