Take a look at the list of people with stars, it's not exactly the elite of the elite. Anthony Anderson, Howie Mandel, Judge Judy. Nothing against any of those people, but I hardly see them as icons of the entertainment industry. Tim Burton is a true legend; he didn't need this to establish anything about his legacy or career. It's harmless and makes for a fun tourist attraction, I just don't see the value in commentary about whether someone 'deserves' a star on the walk of fame. |
