Yay or nay?
As of 2024, it's the still the only movie Eddie Murphy has directed.

Why did you delete what you said? I figured Nay was good enough.

Big yay, upgraded to Blu-ray quite recently. I didn't think much of it the first time I saw it, though. 5/10 the first time, 7/10 next, 8/10 the third time from Blu. Just keeps getting better and better. It's got stronger story than most comedies to keep it together, the cinematography is excellent and the suspense scenes are good. It's not the funniest comedy ever, but a nice mix of styles and genres.
The back alley fight is hilarious. "Oh? You wanna hit people with garbage cans?"
