I gave it a 6 on imdb. I have to be honest it's not really a movie for the masses. I'm a fan of movies based on the entertainment industry, but I found the plot to be a little lame. But the style, direction and cinematography I appreciated. I think it's meant to be something like 'Twin Peaks'. Some people like it, some won't.
Was there anything in particular you hated?

4/10 isn't a bad score given all the hate for this movie. It is very much style over substance. The visuals are beyond amazing, but there's not much else beyond a heavy-handed critique of Hollywood and the fashion industry. All of that said, I thought it was great and would give it a 9/10.

The ONLY reasons I gave it a 4 were the visuals, and the only good thing about it was Fanning.

I didn't think much of her performance here. It was one of the better performances of the film, which says a lot. I think she did well here. It wasn't asking for much. Just be pretty and innocent looking, then bitchie.

Fanning was lame. She came across so lame. They should have chose Chloe Moretz if they wanted a younger star. Fanning was a dumb choice. Half of the time she was just mummering lines and giving the supporting actors blank stares.
