I'd say it's going to be. It's about time too.

no. But it has a good chance of becoming a classic, not in the same league as SupermanI and Batman '89 (these were industry game changers with iconic production values), but as the first solid, successful female superhero movie. The problem here are, as with all current superhero films, the lack of good antagonists and a bit too much, badly aging, CGI in Act 3.
I think of the last decade, only Logan and WW (maybe IM1) will have a veritable chance of being considered as bona fide subgenre classics in another decade or so.

The main reason those stand out is because they were made in eras where there weren't other comic book films being made, so what you're asking is if we'll look back in 20 years and think of Wonder Woman as defining this era. I doubt it. TDKR will. Avengers will. After that it's hard to say if anything will truly stand out.

Not even close to Superman. It's just a blander version of Captain America: The First Avenger. It only feels novel because we finally have the most famous female superhero in the lead. ::jerk off motion:: She was hot at times but it takes the setting of WW1 far too seriously for the kind of silly story its trying to tell.

Probably in the vein of Batman Begins, a good introduction to the character with promise of better things to come.

Not right now but it's going to be. Though not on the same level as TDK or Avengers. Probably closer to IM.
