The Beguiled was an interesting film. Clint Eastwood would have had it made, if not for this troublemaker...  Elle Fanning has the gig in the remake.

I have a question that is most likely a spoiler for those not familiar with the story. I haven't seen the original in many years. I do remember that it ends with some of the girls feeding Clint poison mushrooms that end up killing him. In the trailer for the new film it shows Colin Farrell clearly being poisoned. I hate trailers lately because they give away most of the story. But does the trailer for the new Beguiled actually give away the ending of the movie? They can't be that stupid, can they? |

Haven't seen the trailer, but yes, that is how Clint's character goes. And yes, it's stupid to give it away. |
