Why doesn't He intercede to help starving people and whatnot? Because (if God exists) the Bible tells us that 1. He deliberately created evil in, He thinks, a 'very good' world nonetheless and, 2. that He takes pleasure in his creation. |

The meaning of the word "tolerance" has been twisted over the years to mask a social agenda which can be described as radical (at the least). |

A) Because you choose not to (by avoiding questions). B) Because they are inherently indefensible positions that expose hypocrisy, immorality, logic fails, or general ignorance. If God chooses NOT to end suffering when it is within his power to do so, the only two options that leaves us with are that God is either EVIL, or that there is no actual God to begin with. That's the impossible paradox that theists like you are left with trying to defend. OT: I had to re-read my post (I didn't realize I actually said mate, lol). In any case, I am not British by nationality, but I did live in the U.K. for several years, so I've picked up some of the lingo I suppose. |
