Other than the St. Louis blaxploitation gags, & Aunt Edna being so annoying, the film is one of the best road flicks. It ages fine because it's all so cliche. Besides, R ratings for family movies are now extinct.

Nostalgia... remember the days when Chevy Chase was actually funny in movies.
This is pretty much a hit or miss parody/comedy movie (Please Americans return and make parodies again you did them well without farts and burps)
