Since they are getting conflicting results, I think they need to do additional scans and further tests until their results, whatever they really are, can be repeated exactly.
There are definitely enough oddities about the tomb and burial, to suggest that Nefertiti is there, to make the additional tests worthwhile, to know for sure.
The big question is... If there are hidden chambers there... How will they get into them?
Archaeologists don't want Tut's tomb damaged, over another possible "Al Capone's Vault".
