2 titles in 3 years...imagine they could have a 3 peat. Regardless, theyre the champs. I never seen Durant look like this in OKC.
Good for Golden State, Durant deserves the MVP.

It's almost scary how good Durant is in this system, with a team full of unselfish guys setting him up and getting him good looks. A far cry from the situation in OKC where he would either stand around and watch Westbrook shoot, or stand around and watch Westbrook dribble before dumping it to him with 4 seconds on the shot clock.

I'm not a huge fan of basketball. I mean, I will watch the Toronto Raptors if they are on TV (I'm in Canada), and I'm not watching anything in particular. If they are playing the Detroit Pistons, so much the better!
The Pistons are my favourite NBA team. Goes back to the days of Grant Hill, Joe Dumars, Isaiah Thomas and the like.
However, I do have a soft spot for the Golden State Warriors.
My brother's roommate at university is THE biggest Golden State Warriors on this side of the border. It goes back to the days when they weren't that good. I don't think he missed an opportunity to see the Warriors each time they were in Toronto.
Congrats to the Golden State Warriors!

Grant Hill was amazing before injuries made him a shadow of what he once was. I always thought of him as the Ken Griffey Jr of the NBA, although that's not a perfect comparison.
I'm happy for lifelong Warriors fans like your brother's friend. My brother was also a big time fan going all the way back to the days of Chris Mullin, Chris Weber, Sprewell, etc.
I think criticism of these current Warriors is unfair because three of their four best players were all developed by the franchise and were not big time picks. No one expected Curry to win multiple MVPs or championships, he was just supposed to be a pretty good point guard.
Same deal with a Draymond, the 35th pick the year he was drafted. Bismack Biyombo, Derrick Williams, Enes Kanter, Tristan thompson, Jonas Valanciunas, Jan Vesely, and Jimmer Fredette were all picked ahead of Klay Thompson, who went 11th in the 2012 draft. A bunch of role players and never-was guys playing in euroleage and China.
If the 76ers were even half as smart as the Warriors they'd have an unbelievably squad right now instead of trade bait and a bunch of guys who can't stay healthy.
