There could be 7.45pm kick-offs on a Saturday in the Premier League if the TV people get their way. What's not to like about that, I suppose. But travelling fans aren't keen for obvious reasons.
Football Supporters' Forum issues warning.

Just do what we do in America - bend over and get shafted by the tv and corporate sponsor$. It wouldn't be a bad thing for the Americans, viewing time wise, though. That's, what, 2.45pm ET and 11.45am out west, eh? I reckon that has a lot to do with the plan. It's a global audience, isn't it. It must be a slog getting up before 7am in the east and even worse getting up before 4am in the west to watch a noon (UK) kick-off!

I heard 11:30am as well
no problem at all with these times - more footie too watch (i know its not for us - its for the asian market- but we tv viewers get the benefit as well - due to blocked 3pm games)
however if fans drop numbers even better - they will have to decrease the price of tickets - win - win...supply and demand - fans will go - local pubs clubs will get more trade (and mess though)

I wouldn't mind if they were scattered. Works on Sunday. Loved at the end of the season when there was Tue, Wed and Thu games. Theres plenty other games/leagues on at 3 on Sat anyway.

How long before PL games are played abroad? It's going to happen eventually, just as the NFL now has matches held over here at Wembley. It's too much of an opportunity to make a lot of money to resist it.
