1. After seeing how powerful Diana was, it makes Bruce Wayne seem like even more of an a-hole for fixating on Superman as someone who must be destroyed simply because of his power, while being totally willing to befriend Wonder Woman even though there must have been stories about what she did in WW1.
2. Hippolyta doesn't tell Diana the truth because "the more she knows, the sooner he'll find her." Yet pretty much the first male Diana manages to have a conversation with in London is Ares...

1. He had no idea who she was. He cyberstalked her to learn more.
2. It makes Ares look like a dunce for sure. But he was a stock villain and the story wasn't about him, so it doesn't matter.

to be fair Bruce doesn't get an ant's eye view of Diana taking part in a city-wide catastrophe.

We also have yet to know about Poseidon's trident and how it relates to Aquaman. I guess we will get a bit of info in Justice League.
