A-
My least fav of the trilogy, essentially by default. TTT does play the most 'human' of the 3 I think, surely, with Rohan at the centre of its conflict & exposition.

10/10. Maybe my favorite of the three.

The extended version is my favourite part of the trilogy. The theatrical version made no sense, was boring, but those extra 40+ minutes added so much to it, Jackson nailed it in this part.

10/10 - Going with the Extended Versions in all my ratings for the LotR films. I did see them all in the theatre, too, give each of those versions a 9.5/10. But I understand that it's hard to expect modern day audiences to sit through a 4-hour film, so I understand that edits had to be made, for the theatrical versions (which are still amazing), to make the time a little more manageable (though it's not like the theatrical versions are short). And, in my 40+ years, I had never read the books (though I was always curious about them) as I'm more of a sci-fi guy. *Full disclosure - I have cut and pasted my response from the thread on the first film, because frankly, it's easier and it still applies.
