I was wondering if they fixed their color grading. Remember that comparison of how grayish the airport scene in "Civil War" was compared to "Batman versus Superman"? The contrast seemed much better in the first two movies I mentioned.

Compared to BvS almost any movie would look like the Wizard of Oz. Innit?

To be fair all of the DCEU movies have been kind of dark and broody/moody, color wise. Haven't seen WW so I can't speak to that one, but it seems a bit brighter.

Do you mean to say "MCU movies in general fixed their color grading"?
Because all MCU movies have very very different color grading work... It's not consistent but rather an individual movie by movie choice made by the respective directors and their team.
DS and CW have some of the best color timing work in the MCU. Very natural and color neutral. Unlike both Avengers, which have some of the most blatant and obnoxious orange and teal color grading/lighting that you'll ever see.

But... but I enjoyed the vibrance of The Avengers... I like the vibrancy too. The outdoor scenes look great. I was mainly referring to the scenes on the heli carrier where they digitally tint all of the walls teal and turn Fury's head so orange he looks like a damn pumpkin. It's way worse in AoU though where every interior shot has orange light on faces and teal on the backgrounds. This never bothered me before I researched color timing techniques out of curiousity... Then I realized how much modern movies use the same color scheme of orange teal in every other movie. But once you see it you can never unsee it.

well, with GOTG2 they used a new 8k cam, so the resolution and colors are far better and I think the black levels are much improved, but I think there was one scene on Ego where I felt the black levels were a bit washed.
