So in other words episode 9 could turn out to be a train wreck of originality covered over by OT rehash and Disney princess pixie dust! In other words Tarpals could have da same reaction to 9 as hims had to TFA. Like'n this!...

seems like everyone is bitching about the story rather than the direction, for what that's worth.

The Prequels were also rehashes of the original trilogy , TFA is superior to the prequels, just look at the fecking fart video you sent, wtf is that doing in a star wars film

I never try to judge a movie before we even see the first footage, but I have always been a bit sceptical about Colin Trevorrow. Jurassic World was enjoyable but okay/mediocre blockbuster material and I don't see how his vision could positively impact the Star Wars franchise.
There are a lot of other directors who I prefer. If Episode 8 turns out to be great, maybe it would be better to keep Riann Johnson for episode 9. In my dreams George Miller or Guillermo del Toro would direct a Star Wars movie, but those chances are extremely small (at least for Miller). Bong Joon-ho would be a great choice to direct a standalone movie, but would probably be to great of a risk for episode 9. Alfonso Cuarón would also be a very interesting choice and he has shown his capabilities with franchises with The Prisoner of Azkaban. Maybe Miguel Sapochnik could be a possibility. His movie Repo Man (2010) wasn't good, but he's directed some of the greatest episodes of television ever made (especially The Winds of Winter). For now, for better or worse, I think we're stuck with Trevorrow until Disney says otherwise.

For now, for better or worse, I think we're stuck with Trevorrow until Disney says otherwise. At worst, I can see 'Episode 9' being the weakest of the sequel trilogy while still getting very positive reviews with something like 84% on RottenTomatoes, and ultimately not affecting the saga negatively.
And for what it's worth, 'The Book of Henry' was apparently NOTHING like what Trevorrow has directed before or is planning to direct in the future as of now, so maybe he's just not very good with something like that.
Besides, Disney hasn't fired Guy Ritchie from 'Aladdin' after 'King Arthur: Legend of the Sword' got lousy reviews and given that 'King Arthur' and 'Aladdin' share more tonal/genre similarities than 'The Book of Henry' and 'Episode 9' do, Ritchie sticking around bodes worse for 'Aladdin' than Trevorrow sticking around for 'Episode 9'.
Also, I don't see Rian Johnson sticking around with 'Episode 9' since that's probably going to be a lot lighter than 'The Last Jedi' and Johnson is probably more accustomed to darker films, and that's without mentioning that Lucasfilm is probably planning to have different directors for each film.
You also mentioned Miguel Sapochnik, but after seeing Alan Taylor fiasco with 'Terminator Genisys' and, to some degree, 'Thor: The Dark World', I wouldn't really bring him in to direct 'Episode 9' if I was in charge of Lucasfilm.

I believe that was a digestion sound, not a fart , know your digestion noises cauldenphaggott, I'm sick of your shit A digestion sound? Yikes. That's way more vulgar than the poor Eopie or whatever haplessly attempting to break wind discretely to no avail; who among us hasn't stumbled upon such a social landmine in polite company? Why, just last Christmas I let out a long, proud, wet ripper at the table that could've probably rivaled a Turkish prison in terms of aroma, and we all had a great laugh about it as a family and really bonded over it. The Eopie is a sympathetic character! You don't want to watch a two-hour Disney spin off about him?

TFA is a cacophony of farts you get from greedily feeding on the OT and not be able to properly digest it. Glad you enjoy the smell though.

the prequels are more Disneyfied than TFA says the dude with the XXX-seized Mickey Mouse dildo up his ass. Apart from that, the Disneyfication argument could be made for TPM, and it HAS often been made for ANH and RotJ (funny sidekicks, princesses, Ewoks etc). But the key episodes of AotC and RotS with their dystopian downfall of civilization and corruption themes (ending in tragedy) are as far away from the Disney formula as you can get within the confines of a space opera.
