approximately every fifty years
a wandering herd
of self righteous
right-wing christians
who claim to be
ordained from on high
start prancing around
in their ceremonial jock straps
insisting that everyone
needs to align with
the warped vision
they were magically given
as kids
right before their parents did
all these nasty things to their bodies
you read about in pysch journals
but never thought
a human being capable of doing
and so now they're
screwing anything
that isn't nailed down
as their messiah
massages the masses
and their circus moves
to the next unsuspecting town.
