BBCPersonally speaking, I'd rather introduce rebounds for penalty shoot-outs. Much more fun.

So a 60 minute stopwatch type thing would presumably spell the end of injury/added time as we know it? No, I don't like it.

As much as I dislike that some teams seem to profit very often from unexplainable added time, I think this alternative would be worse for the game. The only benefit, if you can call it that, would be for Americans who can't understand that time-keeping in football isn't the same as it is in their football, in basketball or in hockey.
The only rule change I would like to see is the offside. I think there should be no offside if the player making the pass is already ahead of the line of the penalty area.

It would also presumably mean some games would last 37 minutes while others last 53 minutes. I'd love to see penalty shoot-outs where it's like a normal penalty and the box is surrounded by the players of both teams and rebounds are allowed. I'd also like to see keepers allowed to handle the ball inside the penalty arc.
