Since it's clear that Joss Whedon is doing some fairly extensive reshoots for the Justice League film, I'm curious to hear what everyone's two cents on it is. Are these reshoots good or bad for the movie?

I don't really know tbh It doesn't appear as anything is being radically changed as it seems to be extra scenes and I honestly had faith in Snyder anyway cos I loved his first two efforts. I think Joss Whedon is a great addition but I don't feel his inclusion is going to be improve nor bring down the general film, I imagine Zack has a great vision and they will respectfully stick to it. It could of course be another case of Suicide Squad but I feel WB actually know what they're doing with this one and keeping the studios stinkin hands out of the project as much as they can.
I don't feel the film is being remade which naturally makes me confident. I'm sure Joss will stick to Zack's vision cos to do otherwise would be pretty dickish considering Snyder's circumstances and I also believe that Elfman will not totally scrap Junkie's score and will hopefully stick to some of those key themes crafted by Zimmer and Junkie.

well...............I'm certain of this, Joss is a good director, probably a stronger one that Zack, and I'm a supporter of The Avengers and Snyder, so I'm guessing this will turn out fine, but I hope this movie doesn't feel like The Avengers (and that it doesn't cave and bring in Williams' superman theme)

Less confident. Snyder and Whedon have completely different styles. I think that these two vastly different styles could clash and eventually burn up the whole movie.
I hope I'm wrong.

I hope for the opposite. That Snyders shots and Whedons storytelling come together in great way. But it all doesnt sound too great. On that I agree.

More. Simple fact is audiences and critics like Whedon more than Snyder. His involvement probably guarantees a certified fresh RT score, thus stronger legs.

It makes no difference. Movies reshoot all the time.

It makes no difference. Movies reshoot all the time. The reshoots for JL seem to be somewhat drastic though.

True, but so was Back to the Future.

True, but so was Back to the Future. The only difference here is that a whole new director with a hugely different style than the original director is taking care of the reshoots. The reshot scenes and/or added scenes by Whedon might stick out like a sore thumb.

Are these reshoots good or bad for the movie? I have no confidence in DC at really, reshoots or not. WW was fine, and a good first step, but they have such a deep hole to crawl out of. JL will never be anything close to the Avengers and it's really sad they blew that opportunity.
