If this theme made it into the new Justice League, I might cry. All nostalgia and such aside, this score is incredible.
Imagine if this theme burst out at a similar moment as this one in The Avengers...
A remixed version that Elfman could create would be incredible. I hope they thought of this as well. This could seriously make the entire movie for me.
Would you guys like it in JL this November?

It's a solid theme, so I guess I wouldn't mind a remixed version of it being used. It's a lot more likely that they're going to use a completely new theme though.

they actually sound kind of similar with that French horn-esque sound.

I hope they do something with some balls. Elfman needs to do what he did for Spider-Man back in 2002 to the Justice League. Like I said in another thread, I believe that there are only two mainstream directors working today that allow music to take over in certain scenes of their movies: Christopher Nolan and Quentin Tarantino. It's time for another legendary score from Elfman and the superhero genre. Music should take scenes over and blow us away in this new movie.

Imagine if this theme burst out at a similar moment as this one in The Avengers... What's so special about the Avengers theme? All I heard was screaming from the Chitauri and a loud roar from the Hulk. Didn't even notice that there was theme music in background. Wasn't anything epic or memorable. And wouldn't recognize it if I heard it playing on the radio. The 2 best superhero themes are John Williams' classic Superman theme (which along with the James Bond theme is probably 1 of the most recognized movie themes ever) and the Wonder Woman movie theme. You would notice it immediately whenever it's playing and you would recognize it right away if you heard it playing on the radio.

just for good measure, this one from JL Unlimited is great too. With it's simple e-guitar cord and triad harmonizes well with the e-cello theme from WW.

So not sure now.

So not sure now. That'd be great. Elfman would be the man to do it. He's good at that stuff. I'm getting my hopes up now, but I don't know if it's even possible for it to happen in the actual movie. Maybe the final trailer at least could include this theme in it? I'm sure we'll get at least one more trailer.

A 16 year old cartoon isn't exactly what I would consider to be recent. It technically is old.

As someone who first got into superheroes thanks to the DC Animated Universe, I personally don't find the shows to be the gold standard that some make them out to be, outside of something like 'Mask of the Phantasm'. It's not that the DCAU is bad (although I never could stand Harley Quinn), it's just that I think people need to let it go, and stop demanding that every DC adaptation try to be more like it.

I think they got Superman, at least, right.

Really, if you say classic and not show that video (just reading the thread title) you would think the older themes. But, like I said, it shows what era you are from. I didn't grow up with the Adam West show, but i was a kid for Batman '89. The Adam West theme would be more the classic theme than the Burton movies'. That's why I made the "What are you 12?" joke.

Well I wasn't exactly a young child at the time, but my kid brother was, so I saw these through him. But I was still young enough to feel the nostalgia of 16 years ago when I heard the theme.
