I feel like there are so many I have only watched once and would like to give another try to. The movie "Needful Things" comes to mind a lot lately as one I should watch again. Dreamcatcher as well. I just don't remember it very well. (Unlike Pet Semetary which I watched an endless amount when I was younger. Anyone else feel like there is one they haven't seen in a while and would like to give another go to?

Not a big King fan, but I love Carrie, so that one.

"Pet Sematary," "Cujo," "the Green Mile," and "the Shining," if the lattermost titles even count as King films. I'd forsake watching all the aforementioned films, however, if it meant I didn't ever have to sit through "the Langoliers" again.

The Shining (1980), Cujo (1983), Children of the Corn (1984) and The Mist (2007) all need to be rewatched.

Is that the one with the eel like creatures that crawl up your anus? Yuck! By far, the King adaptations I've seen the most are Carrie; The Shining; Pet Sematary and The Green Mile. Of all of those, Carrie is my all time favorite.

Yes, I agree I remember thinking that I found Needful Things to be kind of boring as well. I was hoping this was because of how young I was when I watched it and that it would be more entertaining now on rewatch. As far as Dreamcatcher I remember I liked it but that is about all. (The crawling up your anus thing doesn't ring any bells and sounds horrific as well. haha) I have also seen Carrie, The Shining and Pet Sematary the most as well and those were all great! (I only saw Green Mile once.) Too hard to pick a fave.. They certainly scared me though!

Not seen the Needful Things movie, but the novel is decidedly average - a hyperkinetic soap opera with a touch of the supernatural.

The Dead Zone (1983) One of the best made thrillers of the early 80s. I love the style and music, and Walken and Herbert Loom are always a great watch, and of course seeing Michael Sheen as the possible next president, was a chilling ride. Silver Bullet (1985) Not as scary or creepy as some of the other werewolf films that had come out earlier that decade, but still is a solid horror film with a impressive cast, and my fourth favorite werewolf film of the 1980s. Thinner (1996) a rather mediocre effort I guess, if being compared to the ones above, but still lots of fun with several great quotes: "Alright I'll go. But before I go, I curse YOU! The Curse of the White Man from Town!" and Kari Wührer might just be one of the craziest but hottest gypsy babes ever put on the screen. Watching Joe Mantegna going all berserk later on in the film was also fun. It does however, for all its sillyness and goofy vibe provide a rather surprising "cliffhanger" at the end. I liked the special effect in this one too, at times funny, but other times very nasty/gory.
Maybe not a movie, but they last mostly around 2-3 hours and I have no trouble sitting up and watching the mini-series based on Stephen Kings novels, even though none of them are any close to being scary, I do often find myself enjoying them for their cheesy and light entertainment. The Langoliers (1995) is one of those titles, full of Stephen Kings cliche ridden characters and were Bronson Pinchot is a riot as the crazed out yuppie from hell, Craig Toomey. And I never go tired of seeing that grunge looking chick with the green top.

Salem's Lot. My brother and I laughed at that one as kids, but I've always heard how great it is, so it makes me want to give it another go. Back in the day, I actually liked the sequel better.

My favorites that I can watch over and over again are Shawshank, Delores Claiborne, Needful Things, 'Salem's Lot, The Green Mile, The Mist.
EDIT: I forgot The Stand. Think they did well for a TV miniseries, despite Molly Ringwald being so miscast as Frannie.

I take it that this is "Arthur 2: On the Rocks" of horror movies about Gaunt having to close his "Needful Things" antiques store.

I want to rewatch The Mist but in black and white. I've only watched first 15 minutes or so of the black & white version. I was very disappointed that felt just like a decolored color film (which of course it is) rather then a "real" black & white movie. It felt really fake and I just lost interest. Anyone a fan of this version? I've been thinking of giving it another chance.

I was born and lived in Maine most of my life, and those people were NOT Mainers. And an old, outdated supermarket like that would only be found in the sticks. Look at all the people shopping there! Almost every aisle was full!
Another thing I hated was the script. Listen to it carefully. Everybody says, "guys." Like, "Hey, guys, look at this," or "come on, guys, follow me," or "where are you guys going?" When they went inside the pharmacy, it was guys this and guys that. Whoever adapted that script had guys on the brain.

Pet Sematary and The Dead Zone, it's been forever since I've seen either one. Also, having recently read The Langoliers I kinda wanna see the mini-series again, even though the F/X were crap.
