Presenting a well-known poster who claimed to believe in God and then left it for "atheism" would be a strong motivation for some unscrupulous person. To what end exactly? You're addressing a guy who is in such a delicate state that other's posts are considered "telling him what to think". To such an individual, an example of someone leaving the faith would be considered a nuclear assault on his convictions. Most, of course, would see it as anecdotal and ho-hum. People cross in both directions every day.

So from his perspective, I was never a "true Christian" in the first place. So why would he assume I was someone different when I STILL don't see eye to eye with him. Moreover, why would he even care? If it was Blade, or Ada, or Cody, or someone else as ridiculous and extreme as him becoming an atheist, then I could understand.

You've compounded his projection of disgust and loathing for (himself)you.

It's not deep. Erjen doesn't even debate his own stuff anymore. He just random-posts then zips on to the next random post when it looks like people are addressing whatever his assertion seems to be.

Presenting a well-known poster who claimed to believe in God and then left it for "atheism" would be a strong motivation for some unscrupulous person. To what end exactly? What would be the point of someone doing that, and why would you choose to believe that other than the simpler, more obvious answer? You didn't actually answer the questions. If you were actually able to, then you might understand why your suspicion doesn't add up. There is no logical motivation for why I'd pretend to be someone I'm not, and if there is, you haven't been able to articulate it. More relevant than your suspicion is your motivation for introducing that idea in the first place. The fact is you never thought that I was a believer even when I was one. You didn't like me back then because (using the bible and from a Christian perspective) I often made your arguments look stupid and you look hypocrite. Now you don't like me because I'm able to do exactly the same thing as an atheist. And the reason I am able to do that isn't because you are a Christian, it's because you are stupid, you are a poor debater, and a bad representative of the religion you claim to profess. There are other Christians on here who I fundamentally disagree with in terms of belief. But they are able to support their beliefs better than you, and they at least present themselves as someone who practices Christianity. And that's why I didn't go after them before and why I don't go after them now. So at the end of the day, it doesn't matter if you believe that I am a different poster now, or the same one because I'm accomplishing exactly the same effect. (By the way, I could prove to you that I'm the same person pretty easily if I wanted to. Another poster had similar suspicions and I was able to confirm my identity to them with some simple test questions. The reason I haven't "proved" myself to you is because you want me to. Therefore I don't want to. I have nothing to gain by "convincing you", and it's more entertaining to watch you scratch your head in confusion, and try to rationalize why your assumption might be true, even when it makes no sense). When you actually demonstrate some humility, acknowledge when you are wrong, and answer other people's questions that you have a penchant for avoiding, then I might oblige you. Look, if you're Captain Bryce and it's all that important to you to convince me that you're Captain Bryce, you'll have to provide some proof of it. Otherwise I'm just going to have to go with maybe you are, and maybe you aren't.
