I always feel once NBA is over.....Im kind of in limbo in sports. I know my fellow baseball fans will hate me, but I just cant. 162 fn games.....not enough teams imho make the playoffs, I sadly cant. So now, Im all "waiting for the NFL season, and paying more attention to the UFC." I also notice, doesnt seem like a lot of UFC fans here  Well....NFL season will be here eventually, anyone else feel this way? |

Ditto. No UFC for me. Might get into some baseball after the AS game. Some Wimbledon July 3 on.

I'm no NBA fan and soured a bit on hockey. Baseball is my #1 so I'm content.

Yea, I respect it. Baseball is just so hard for me to get into.
Football....60 minutes, full action. Yea, 40 seconds per play, but it feels like it moves along nicely.
NBA...back and forth back and forth...yea their are fouls, time outs, etc, but again, it feels moving....
Sigh baseball....I do like going to a baseball game....but ok, pitch.....throw the ball back..seems like we wait for 1-2 minutes for the next pitch. IDK, it just seems to go so slow.
I mean NBA you can get 80-78 game to a 132 to 112 game.
Football...sure there are the rare 3-0 or 7-0 or 7-3 games, but usually, you get a 21-17 game or even a 35-21 game.
Baseball....1-0......2-3....1-2....
Sure, you get the rare 12-8 games, but rarely. IDK, it just feels like baseball moves so slow for me, and I do watch post season ball, but I hate how really only 8 teams get in. (I DO love the 2 wild card teams facing off, I like that a lot. It's a 1 game, winner takes all. Still, better than just the 8, least 2 more teams get a shot).

Right, in the NFL you got TD for 6 points Extra Point is 1 point You can go for 2, giving you 8 points for a TD. (Or stuck at 6) You can sack the QB in the endzone, giving you two AND the ball. (Such a huge game changer). Right, a pick 6. Fgs for 3. NBA regular 2 point bucket 3 point bucket FTs, for one point Baseball...it's basically, the best you can ever get, is a 4 run grand slam. |

NBA is woeful though so I don't miss that. Not interested in the big 4 North American sports.

Agreed. Never been a huge baseball fan so Summer is a slow period for me as well.

To be fair, the quality of play has improved in recent years. It's no Premier League for sure, but at least it isn't the equivalent of my old high school team anymore. |
