So... I'm guessing this will be a Johnny Quest type of movie. Or even Spy Kids.

Good luck with that.
They should just go beg Brad Bird to make it. He's clearly the only person who knows what the hell to do with these characters.

I think it's about time Fox admits it doesn't know wtf it's doing and amputates a limb here.

To be fair, that is a new direction. The last one was just a darker rehash of the 2005 version.

I was under the assumption that they did -- well, if they don't, then I stand corrected, so thank you for that. But that doesn't change the point. This is just another example of them having trouble handling the Fantastic Four; it would probably be better left unmade.

Yeah, Constantin Films own the rights while Fox just distributes.

Has Fox learnt nothing from when they rebooted it in 2015?

Dear god, not another one. I'm just glad that they aren't hiring Trank again.

Has Fox learnt nothing from when they rebooted it in 2015? I just watched the documentary Doomed! about the Roger Corman F4 movie from the 90s. It was a rights grab that was never meant to be released... And they told no one that was making it. I think the previous reboot was the same thing except they did release it. Just another rights grab.
