Just wondering if it's worth taping to binge watch.

I gave it a try, but it really wasn't for me. I didn't last past the first 20 minutes.

It's fun...but it takes some time to find it's feet.
It has a lot of character and world building in the first season.
There are a lot of times where you are saying "Wait, what just happened?" and you think maybe you missed something, but you probably didn't...it tends to do things then explain them later as opposed to setting up things and then paying them off.

That's a tough question. It depends on you. I generally like strange and weird shows, and this certainly is that. It had some really great parts, yet at times never felt it came together for me. I binge watched the first season and had mixed feelings. I will watch the 2nd season out of curiosity, but i'm not really pumped about it.

Thanks for the replies. My cable company is running all the 1st season episodes over Friday and the weekend. I'll DVR it and see what I think.

My understanding is that the second season is when it will become the show it was meant to be, if that makes any sense. The first season is apparently set before the story starts in the comics...so they have to do a lot of exposition. It's like how the very first X-men movie was just OK because it had to devote so much time into development of the characters and world. X2 was when the franchise found its legs.

It's pretty good. I'm a huge fan of the comics so I made myself push through and by the end of it, I had a good time. It's pretty clunky at times and drags on forever but I don't regret watching it.

You'll have to watch the entire season to really appreciate it. It's pretty quirky, and isn't everyone's cup of tea (especially in the beginning).
I hung in there for season 1 and I intend to watch season 2.

So did you watch it yet? Seen any of season 2 yet? I did. I enjoy it. It's fun and the characters are interesting. Getting pretty fast paced now. Caught up now so I can watch Monday night when it airs.

Caught up now so I can watch Monday night when it airs. They have already shown 2 episodes of season 2....pretty good so far. I really like the chemistry of the main trio.

season 2 is worth watching just for the hell storyline, can't wait for season 3 just to continue that. I liked season 2 also and the hell storyline. I don't know if they'll follow through with the hell storyline very much, since Eugene and Hitler escaped.
I have not read the comics, so I have no idea how close the TV show is in comparison.
