Not when you own the course and are an arrogant son of a bitch.

Many years ago I was told you shouldn't even lean on your putter while removing the ball from the hole, so yes.

Looks on, he got close to the pin. nope. his cart is right on the edge. it's really short almost 'the green' where his cart is, that's called the apron, it's shorter than fairway cut, but not as short as the green. looks it's a short par 4, you see aprons like that on those.

He didn't drive on the green, he drove on the rough between the green and the fairway. It's his golf course anyway, and I'm sure the groundskeepers know his idiosyncrasies.
Most places have rules about keeping the carts to the specified trails, which are usually concrete. The carts run parallel to the holes, with idle spots next to the tee and the green.

That wasn't on the green, it was on the apron. Besides, if you own the golf course you cn drive your cart through the kitchen if you want.

Not that I care one way or the other, but he's definitely on the green.

The distinguished editorial board at Cheap Seats maintains a nonpartisan policy and tries to keep politics out of sports. But on behalf of 25 million golfers in the United States, we must ask the president one thing. What the heck were you thinking?Video leaked last week of President Trump driving his golf cart onto a green. You didnβt have to be a CNN anchor to be outraged. Golf has a lot of arcane rules, but one that everybody understands is that you donβt drive a 700-pound golf cart onto the delicate turf of a green. Most of us have a hard enough time making putts under perfect conditions. It gets really tricky when you have to roll it through tire tracks, even if they are left by the most powerful man in the world. Itβs hard to overreact to such a breach of etiquette, though naturally some did. The New York Times called for Trumpβs immediate impeachment. Johnny Depp said Trump should be forced to watch a continuous loop of βPirates of the Caribbean IV.β Trump loyalists claimed President Obama once drove an M1 tank onto the greens at Congressional Country Club and the media ignored it. They also pointed out that Trump owns the course where his offense took place, the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, N.J. Sure, he can drive his cart into the clubhouse dining room if he wants to. But just because you own the joint doesnβt mean you should treat it like a motocross course. Again, this not a political statement. We just want the president to set a better example for Americaβs golfing youth. If he doesnβt, we may have to endorse a candidate in 2020 who wants to build a wall around greens to keep the bad drivers out. www.orlandosentinel.com/sports/david-whitley/os-sp-cheap-seats-david-whitley-0625-story.html
