In the 1980s and early 1990s, heck yeah. Nowadays, not so much.
Murray can be relatively humorous when he wants to be (Zombieland (2009)), but I believe Aykroyd kinda lost it around the time Blues Brothers 2000 (1998) was made.
Chevy Chase was good in Community (2009 - 2015), but the guy has anger issues. His cameo in Vacation (2015) sucked.
I can't say much about John Belushi since he passed away years ago. He may have been the only one that could be a comedy God nowadays if he were still alive.

john.
We dodged so many bullets with the original GHostbsuters movie... john was supposed to play peter. I am sorry, I don't see him as an educated [enough to get doctorates] person. I just don't. [another bullet we dodged was Janine being played by 'talks like she is chewing her face' Sandra Bernhard. god no. I would have hated that movie if only for her! no. just no.]

I think Gilda Radner, Martin Short, John Candy and Harold Ramis were better than all of the above.
