The leader of the Showtime Lakers, Magic Johnson, has now begun a new era of Lakers basketball, the Circustime Lakers. Let LaVar Ball speak down from the heavens and proclaim the Lakers are going to do more than even sniff the playoffs next year. I do like Lonzo's cool and Walton's comments though. I would of beat Jordon

I would of beat Jordoni actually liked the direction they were going with D'Lo, Randle and Ingram and the #2 pick tonight. i don't think a lot of organizations have the patience to do what the Sixers did. i think Magic is a Godsend for them though. 2018 when they get George and possibly LeBron to match up with Ball and who knows who else -i can really see them in the top half of the West again - and it's all because of Magic. i don't think there's many guys out there that have his pull. look at that ugly story involving the Buss's. family was fired and there were court hearings - all to bring Magic in and get rid of 'blood' family who had their hands in the team. just me - i'll think they'll be fine and at the top of the West again in a matter of years. magic is one of those guys that just exudes success

I'm not trying to knock Magic, I think he'll be good for them too. It's just the Lakers always seem to give me to hate them. Kobe Bryant, LaVar Ball, and to be honest they were always so damn good I hated them for that too. Never really had a problem with Kareem, Magic, Worthy and the crew, they were just too damn good.

They're not doing shit with the squad they have right now, even with Lonzo Ball. If I was a Lakers fan I'd hope to see one full season where Daddy Ball doesn't create distractions or controversy, and to assess the players they have right now so they can figure out what they need.
Everyone's talking about 2018 like it's 2010, but they forget how many teams lost out in that offseason. Also, Lebron will be 34...
